Why is it important?
There is an urgent need to migrate to quantum-safe PKI systems, as threats from quantum computers are not just hypothetical to the distant future but are present already now through methods of data theft such "Store-now-decrypt-later."
Perspectives
This paper serves as a crucial first step in the transition to quantum-safety. It seeks to lay important groundwork for future studies and provide the necessary insight for policymakers to start planning their first steps.
