What is it about?

The heritage in many rural territories could be used as an asset for social and economic development. This rural regeneration process should be monitor through key performance indicators, to assess the effectiveness of the action plans. A robust monitoring system faces most probable situations and is able to adapt the relevance of the indicators in a case-by-case basis, while providing evidence of the role of the cultural and natural heritage in rural territories as a driver for sustainable growth. This paper explains the different data collection procedures, the information gathered, and the dashboards developed for the monitoring platform.
