What is it about?
'iGrade' is a website for grading short answer questions. The instructor will upload an Excel file to the website containing the student's answer and a reference answer and the model will grade the answers based on the meaning and content and assign either 1, .5, or 0 which indicates a full mark if the answer is correct, half of the mark if the half of the answer is correct, and zero when the answer is wrong. After grading, the instructor will be able to download the Excel file containing the grades in addition to a degree of confidence, which is a probability of how confident the system is about this grade.

Why is it important?
'iGrade' aims to improve the grading mechanism and create new ways to assist instructors through auto short answer grading in exams and assignments. It can help reduce students’ anxiety and stress while waiting for the grades, due to the capability of AI in processing large data of answers and scoring it in a reasonable time that will be faster than manually scoring by instructors.
Perspectives
Hopefully, this article will help people interested in improving the grading process. As someone interested in NLP, I hope it will be helpful for anyone who reads it.
