What is it about?
Despite some alignments between user experience (UX) principles and contract grading, more scholarship about grading in UX courses is needed. This self-study of a UX course found contract grading helped highlight user, client, and stakeholder priorities and supported engagement in UX processes. However, accommodating flexible UX processes and maximizing access to UX processes was challenging.

Very little literature exists about how to grade UX courses, and this article both documents a case and concludes with a heuristic to help instructors of such courses.
