The CPU clock fingerprint is a valid device fingerprint. Its physical principle is that CPU internal clocks use oscillators based on quartz crystals. Why is it important?
The existing CPU clock fingerprint models are sensitive to CPU load, so they cannot be applied in practice. This paper proposes a CPU clock fingerprint model that is robust to CPU load. This paper proposed an Adaptive Pareto principle to deal with the interruption caused by CPU load.
Perspectives
The principle of the method in this article is very easy to understand, but the effect of this method is very good. This paper also shows how to use mathematical thinking to solve practical problems.
