What is it about?
The atmosphere of our Sun is populated by solar arcs. We propose a filament-based model of these arcs that allows us to recreate sun-like images. We also propose a pipeline to process magnetic flux surface data for our algorithm and apply it on NASA observatory data.

Why is it important?
Successfully modeling natural phenomena deepens our understanding of the underlying processes. It also allows the free generation of new data. The physics of the solar atmosphere is a great challenge to astrophysics and solar activity also affects our earth. This paper further lights the path in the understanding of the solar atmosphere.
Perspectives
This publication is the final product of nearly 3 years of research with plentiful ups and downs. It was a pleasure to pursue this achievement with my co-authors without whom this would not have been possible. I sincerely hope that this work will pass on our insights to those researchers who need it, that it improves visualization for those who seek it, and that it fascinates bystanders that meet it.
