What is it about?
With the advent of 6G comes new network topologies. In 6G networks, wireless UAVs will connect ground users to in-orbit wireless infrastructure. This paper presents a design methodology and prototype to address the major design challenges in the prototyping of wireless UAVs for future 6G spectrum research.

Why is it important?
We propose a UAV design methodology for 6G spectrum research. Our design methodology creates UAVs that achieve significantly better performance than commercially available UAV options and can be tailored for specific wireless applications.
Perspectives
While the scope of this paper was to design UAVs for wireless applications, it can be extended beyond to other aerial problems. I hope that this methodology offers a useful framework that guides others further into UAV research for both wireless applications and beyond.
