What is it about?
This study focuses on 'what are the challenges to develop Docker technology'. We collect and analyse data over 100,000 posts for last 10 years from Stack Overflow. Our empirical study reveals several interesting findings. Such as, which orchestration tool is being more used, how trends are changing over time, what are the most popular and difficult things among developers in this Docker domain.

Why is it important?
Docker is one of the most popular containerisation platform. Stack Overflow survey result among 65,000 developers around the world in 2020 reveals that Docker is ranked 1st in 'Most Loved Platform'. In addition, industries are going to incorporate container platforms in their applications. Therefore, it is highly important to know about what developers discuss about Docker container technologies.
Perspectives
We release the dataset and reproduction package for future research opportunities. This research helps to identify several key future areas to carry out research in Docker.
