Why is it important?
It is important to be able to read by listening at high-speed to be efficient and to be able to read while looking at where you are and where you are going.
Perspectives
I continue to read by listening, but during the Covid-19 isolation I have had less need to do it. When not practicing, the speed returns to normal rates.
