What is it about?
Many tools of modern theoretical physics have been used in polymer physics research, in particular, path integral and field theoretic methods. We review well-established method in polymer field theory, including the Landau effective Hamiltonian, the self-consistent mean-field theory, the Gaussian fluctuation theory, and the Hartree fluctuation theory.
