What is it about?

By employing a metallomics method we show that the addition of glutathione to blood plasma either before or after cisplatin changes its metabolism. The detection of a new platinum-sulfur complex in plasma implies that its formation is directly involved in the process by which glutathione protects mammals from the cisplatin-induced toxicity.
