A 12 year old boy had his arm cut off during a bus accident. The boy and his limb were brought to the hospital in Jamaica and a team consisting of Orthopaedic and plastic surgeons successfully reattached the limb. The subsequent discussion focuses on the results comparing upper limb prosthesis versus reattachment of the upper limb. The patient's functional outcome is also discussed
