What is it about?
A 43-year old lady with recent history of chemotherapy for carcinoma breast presented to our clinic with complaint of diffuse brownish discoloration of finger nails of both hands i.e. melanonychia along with intermittent white coloured multiple, transverse, bands covering the entire breadth of nails suggestive of true leuconychia (Mees’ lines). She showed complete reversal of these nail changes within eight weeks after the completion of chemotherapy, hence establishing a cause and effect relationship.
