What is it about?
Health professionals regularly draw for patients, carers and colleagues but little is known about why they do this or what effect it has. For this study seven health professionals who draw were interviewed. Through these interviews, we found that drawing often helps health professionals describe, explain and record information in a way that is practical, helpful and sensitive.
