Why is it important?
Diagnosis of Cardiac Sarcoidosis requires a multi-disciplinary and a multi-modality imaging approach usually involving Cardiac MRI and FDG-PET Scan. In this paper we present the salient diagnostic features involving Cardiac MRI and FDG-PET Scan among those with Cardiac Sarcoidosis presenting with life threatening heart rhythm problems such as VT, VF Arrest and higher degree AV blocks.
