What is it about?

Individuals with a learning/intellectual disability are at an increased risk of experiencing significant psychological difficulties. Therefore, they have a greater risk of having emotional problems than in the general population. This study offers an insight into the experience of people with a learning/intellectual disability and mental health issues. It provides an empirical insight into the ways users and carers navigate an often-hostile health system.
