What is it about?
Limitations: – This study has a cross-sectional design that does not allow cause and effect inference. – The use of a questionnaire to assess the level of physical activity did not allow a more robust assessment. Strengths: – We highlight the random sample, as well as the sample size of older adults, and the control of the variables by confounding factors in the analyses between physical activity and health related quality of life. – The evaluation of physical activity addressing different domains in older adults, and considering the different domains of health related quality of life. – It is worth noting the collection and storage of data through electronic devices, which can minimize errors during data export and tabulation, which are complex tasks in a population study.
