This study is focused on understanding bleeding complications in infants with hypoxic brain injury around the time of birth.

Why is it important?
The rates of death and disability in infants with hypoxic brain injury are high. These infants also have an impaired ability to form blood clots to prevent bleeding. Understanding bleeding complications may help to guide blood transfusion approaches to prevent bleeding.
