What is it about?
Frozen shoulder can be very painful, physically limiting and treated in a variety of ways, yet little is known about it from the patient's perspective. This paper reports patients' experiences of diagnosis, treatment and living with frozen shoulder.

Why is it important?
There is only one previous paper reporting patients' views on experiencing frozen shoulder. This paper gives the patient perspective on care and treatment, which is an important consideration when making clinical decisions.
Perspectives
Frozen shoulder is often a hidden condition, but one that is extremely painful and disruptive to daily life. It carries with it the possibility that full movement will never be restored. By reporting peoples' stories I hope that I can contribute to raising awareness about this condition and by putting the patient at the centre of clinical decision making bing about the best possible outcomes for them.
