What is it about?
While bifid scrotum has been reported in Popilteal-Pterygium syndrome, neither Van der Woude syndrome or PPS have previously noted hemi-scrotal agenesis as part of the phenotypic picture. Treatment options include topical androgen application and/or scrotoplasty to allow for adequate testicular thermoregulation and development to occur.
