Our editorial discussed early menopause and cardiovascular disease (CVD) risk factors, and the potential for more natural and physiologic hormone replacement therapy (HRT), as opposed to the older HRT used in WHI, to reduce CVD risk factors and potentially clinical events in the primary and secondary prevention of CVD.
