What is it about?
The number of new cases of IPSID had decreased dramatically in Iran . Improved sanitation and reduced infections in early childhood might be involved .

IPSID had been almost eliminated in Iran .
Perspectives
IPSID once was a common cause of malabsobrtion and chronic diarrhea in middle EAST seems to be reduced in number . This could be the effect of primary health care in Iran which was established 33 years in Iran while the country was suffering form a devastating war.
