What is it about?

Simple analytical solutions to diffraction problems are very important in many applications. We offer a heuristic approach allowing to construct diffraction solutions for scatterers with non-ideal boundary conditions.

Why is it important?

It is important because new solutions are as simple as physical optics solutions and more accurate in comparison with convenient method of edge wavse approximation.

Perspectives

I plan to develop this approach. Also I am ready to help other researchers in implementing this methodics into their research.
