Respiratory syncytial virus and type III interferon responses

What is it about?

We demonstrated that respiratory syncytial virus, a major cause of bronchiolitis in infants, induces strong antiviral responses in paediatric airway epithelium. However, it is also able to block these responses, which helps the virus to survive and replicate.
