What is it about?

We sequenced, assembled and annotated the genome of P. chlamydospora RR-HG1. This should provide the basis for further analysis with this Esca relevant fungi. The DNA sequence was deposited at NCBI (JACF00000000), for the annotation file please contact the corresponding author (harald.berger@ait.ac.at)

Why is it important?

The genomic sequence provides a basis on which further studies can be made including phylogenetic studies or transcriptomics. It also helps to learn about the genetic arsenal that this fungi possesses in order to interact with the host plant or other micro organisms.
