What is it about?
Indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase (IDO), a potent immunoregulatory molecule, catalyzes the rate-limiting step of tryptophan(Trp) degradation in the kynurenine (Kyn) pathway. In this study, we demonstrated that higher serum IDO activity was related with mortality in TB and was independent prognostic factor.
