What is it about?
We have shown for the first time that patients with atopic dematitis may be the source of Staphylococcus aureus epidemic strains. These strains carried a wide range of genes encoding cytolytic toxins and unique combination of superantigen-like protein and serine protease genes.

Why is it important?
It is important. for deciphering the mechanisms of pathogenesis of atopic dermatitis and the improvement of treatment methods. In addition, data on infection with Staphylococcus aureus epidemic strains are important for addressing infection control issues.
Perspectives
This work was extremely important for all of our team. since we obtained data on tens of thousands of genes of several strains of the pathogen, circulating in the territory of our country.
