College-athletes' perceptions of their academic culture and separate academic facilities in college

What is it about?

Results from focus groups with revenue sport male, non-revenue sport male, and female college athletes about their perceptions of academic experiences and having their own academic facilities through their college experience.

Results contradict previous research in that males in our study do encourage their teammates academically and hope everyone graduates from college.
