We showed that adding haptic cues help young and older adults to improve their balance control and this benefit does not depend on muscle fatigue.

Because the use of the haptic cues can be used in different moments of an intervention session, even at the end of the session when muscle fatigue may start to be an issue.

Perspectives

We hope health professionals start to use the anchors in their intervention programs to help people with balance problems.
