What is it about?

We assessed a set of indicators related with physical activity in children and adolescents from Chile. We scored very low grades in most indicators as in 2016, our first version.

Why is it important?

We are aware that physical inactivity in Chilean children is a big issue, but with this paper, we have summarised a large amount of evidence from different sources to assist decision makers, professionals and general community in justifying interventions and advocating for better quality for children and adolescents.

Perspectives

After the release of the second version of this Chilean report, we expect to keep on advocating for positive and comprehensive changes in our system. Data are supporting urgent actions to improve our grades.
