What is it about?
This research is a mathematical technique to parse the system's response into linear and nonlinear features, which allows for a general description of the important frequency and amplitude components. The frequency and amplitude parameters are essential to provide information about the dynamic behavior of the system under investigation.

Why is it important?
When a system under analytical scrutiny is described by its dynamics the ability to predict future physical behavior is possible. And, thus, predictive diagnostics are conceivable for modeling systems under shifting conditions.
Perspectives
Predictive modeling is a fairly mature field. However, our increased computational capabilities in the last 30 years has made some very theoretical mathematical concepts tenable. Consequently, our technique is promising despite the curse of dimensionality, which is addressed in our method.
