What is it about?
Localiztion of the large guns is significant military problem. The algorithm which we we used in this paper gives good results in estimation of the time of arrival of N-wave for different calibers, startiing from 5.56 mm through very large of 122 mm.

Why is it important?
Our findings enabled us to estimate position of the guns with good accuracy. Circular probble error was less from 1% at the range of 8 km for gun which caliber was 122 mm.
Perspectives
This article lead to resolve problem of automatic estimation of the gun position, because time of arrival of N-wave is performed in-situ.
