What is it about?

The phenomenon of cavitation is, in many cases, a critical issue for the hydrodynamic performance of the propulsion system of a ship, as well as for the thereby radiated noise. This work, aims at achieving more insight in the basic phenomena leading to cavitation through accurate modeling of the relevant bubble dynamics.
