What is it about?

Focusing sound waves on a spot whose size is much shorter than half of a wavelength has been recently made possible. We explain here how to reproduce, at an elementary level, this experiment that illustrates fundamental properties of waves.

Why is it important?

It was a great pleasure to work with physicists at the forefront of research and to make it accessible to students.

Perspectives

I hope to continue to build bridges between the world of research and the classroom.
