Why is it important?
This work gives a theoretical Idea about the splice loss when the liquid filled photonic crystal fiber is spliced with Step index fiber.
Perspectives
When working the liquid filled photonic crystal fiber as sensor based device it may be required to monitor the scenario all the time far away from the location of instalment of such devices. In that case the splicing of such fiber becomes important with conventional fibers.
