What is it about?
We're developing a new type of optical device, made from microlenses, which could potentially be used as low vision aids for people with particular sight conditions. Here we presented the progress in taking this from concept to reality and where we still need to go to reach the finish line.

Why is it important?
Currently the devices these patients use are cumbersome and expensive. We hope our devices would be much more comfortable and affordable and perhaps allow for more flexible approaches to the problem.
Perspectives
This presentation was a simple overview of the work we've been doing. The more technical papers will be coming soon, but this is was a nice overview of the why, how and what of the project so far.
