What is it about?
Photogenerated electrons and holes in TiO2 can be observed by Laser Flash Photolysis Spectroscopy. The lifetimes of the signals correlate with the photocatalytic performance. Mixing of TiO2 materials with different particle sizes can increase the photocatalytic activity due to a transfer of charge carriers between the particles.
