Are stem cell derived astrocytes physiologically credible

Featured Image

Why is it important?

New human cell based models are increasingly used for drug discovery and disease modelling. As such models need to be validated in order to replace current models

Perspectives

Stem cell models will form the basis for future drug discovery and high-throughput screening. As such these models need to be tested to ascertain their capability.
