What is it about?

The circadian clock impacts plant metabolism and responses to the environment. In this study we demonstrate that Arabidopsis exhibits time-of-day dependent susceptibility to the fungal pathogen, Botrytis cinerea, and that decreased susceptibility following inoculation at dawn compared to night is driven by jasmonate signalling and faster activation of the defence transcriptional network.
