Threat of soybean rust in Africa

What is it about?

Soybean rust is spreading rapidly and causing massive yield losses worldwide. This paper reviewed the status of soybean production and the threat it poses to production due to its virulence diversity in east and southern Africa. Ongoing research on management options are discussed and recommendations for the future research made.
