Why is it important?
Psoriatic children developed Cushing’s syndrome, after 2-3 months of treatment with clobetasol cream.
Perspectives
Topical corticosteroids may be associated with significant adverse events for a disease such as psoriasis that requires long-term treatment. Risks associated with systemic antipsoriatic drugs are well recognized in adults and children, whereas the adverse effects and safety of topical corticosteroids are neglected in the medical literature.
