What is it about?
We studied BNCT in a model of oral precancer in the hamster cheek pouch. We analyzed tumor development during 8 months. We studied mucositis after BNCT, and also histamine as a possible mucositis treatment. Histamine reduced severe mucositis without compromising BNCT inhibitory effect on the development of new tumors.
