Light acclimation interacts with thylakoid ion transport to govern the dynamics of photosynthesis in Arabidopsis

What is it about?

Enhancing photosynthesis is a promising strategy to boost crop yields. However, photosynthesis in natural light settings is poorly understood. We show that two environmental light factors, intensity and variability shape dynamic photosynthesis via specific ion transport mechanisms.
