Identifying thresholds of nitrogen enrichment for substantial shifts in arbuscular mycorrhizal fungal community metrics in a temperate grassland of northern China

What is it about?

Based on a long-term field experiment in a temperate grassland, we characterized the community response patterns of arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) fungi to N enrichment. For the first time, we reported N thresholds for abrupt shifts in AM fungal community metrics in response to N addition in the grassland ecosystem of northern China.
