What is it about?
<i>Begonia</i>, is one of largest genera of angiosperms, and also an important ornamental foliage plants. We show for the first time chromosome-level genome assemblies and conduct comparative genomic analysis of this mega-diverse plant genus, and reveal some of the drivers behind the large numbers of species.
