Functional convergence of growth responses to shade and warmth in Arabidopsis

What is it about?

Plants change their growth patterns in response to warm temperatures but the significance of these responses remains speculative. Here we propose that their main function is to enhance foraging for light when warm temperatures compromise the carbon balance.
