Disrupted actin: a novel player in pathogen attack sensing?

What is it about?

Plants can recognise changes in the structure of actin filaments, which leads to specific activation of plant immunity. We are proposing a model which brings a novel view about the involvement of the actin cytoskeleton and the sensing of its integrity in plant immunity.
