What is it about?
Lead (Pb) is a ubiquitous environmental pollutant, yet little is known about its entry into food webs and the human food chain. We studied leaf Pb accumulation by the metallophyte Arabidopsis halleri and establish it as a good model to dissect the mechanisms of plant-Pb interaction.
