What is it about?

When we sequence genomes we annotate lots of regions as likely to be genes. Some of those are real. Some look like genes but don't really effect phenotype. By looking at genes with known phenotypes, it is now possible to do a much better job of estimating which gene like regions we see in the genome actually determine the characteristics of the plants we study.
