Nutrient exchange in arbuscular mycorrhizal symbiosis from a thermodynamic point of view

What is it about?

In AM symbiosis it is not fully known, which transporters are involved in the nutrient exchange. Here, we modelled systematically all possible transport pathways and assessed them for their suitability in the P/C/N exchange. The chosen approach allowed us to straightforwardly narrow down the huge number of possibilities for a nutrient exchange network.
